Introduction to Basic Technology (IBT)
The program in the school for 8th – 10th std. is named as “Introduction to Basic Technology (IBT)”. The program got recognition by the SSC board of Maharashtra as a pre- vocational program. Now the IBT program is revised as per ‘National Vocational Education Qualification Framework’ (NVEQF) and now as ‘NSQF’ guidelines by Maharashtra Government.

Objectives
- To introduce students to different skills, thereby developing capability to act.
- To implement ‘Learning while doing’ methodology in education system.
- Linking school education/curricular subjects to day to day activities and make education meaningful.
- To demonstrate use of appropriate technologies to the community through school.
- To provide various services to community through school.
Strategy
- Focus on school children from 8th to 10th
- Training will be given based on methodology of ‘Learning while doing, in real life situation’.
- As a part of training, students will be given training in various rural technologies. Focus will be given on need based service requirement.

Food Processing
